A Middle Eastern drilling company was looking to update its fleet of BOP Controls from outdated manual controls to the latest PLC based controls.  Windlass executed the entire project turnkey from surveying the existing units, to designing the new PLC controls, retrofitting the controls on the existing machinery, removing the old controls and conducting a full and through test and commissioning on site.

The work was completed under budget and in time.  Rather than invest in all new controls which most of the other manufacturers were recommending, Windlass was able to save our customer millions of dollars while extending the life of their existing equipment.
